Cetilar Racing has pulled the wraps off its new Ferrari 499P Hypercar, revealing a striking electric blue and fluorescent green colour scheme for the upcoming Asian Le Mans Series campaign. The Italian outfit is preparing for a landmark season as the championship opens its doors to top-tier Hypercar machinery for the very first time. Technical support for the #47 entry will be provided by AF Corse as the team steps up to the premier class.

The distinctive livery honours the historic colours that Cetilar Racing has carried across various international championships and during its five consecutive appearances at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The team's signature number forty-seven adorns the flanks of the prototype, which combines electric blue bodywork with sharp fluorescent green detailing. Team principal Roberto Lacorte described seeing the finished machine in its new colours as an emotional milestone for the organisation.

The driving lineup for the #47 Ferrari features a family dynamic alongside factory backing. Roberto Lacorte will share the cockpit with his son, Nicola Lacorte, and official Ferrari factory driver Antonio Fuoco. For the younger Lacorte, stepping up to the premier category represents the culmination of a long-standing ambition after watching the team's progression from the sidelines during earlier racing programmes.

Antonio Fuoco brings considerable factory expertise to the operation, having collaborated with Cetilar Racing since 2021 across multiple global series. The Italian professional expressed enthusiasm for joining the squad in top-line prototype competition with a chassis as decorated as the Le Mans-winning 499P. The partnership aims to build upon the team's previous endurance successes as they tackle the expanded winter championship calendar.

The upcoming 2026/2027 Asian Le Mans Series season comprises six four-hour races, visiting circuits including Le Castellet, Jerez and Portimão. The action gets underway in southern France with the 4 Hours of Le Castellet on fourteen November. This opening round marks the official start of the championship's multi-class grid featuring Hypercars, Le Mans Prototypes and GT3 machines.

Cetilar Racing enters the new campaign following a competitive run in the previous championship, where the squad secured victories at Sepang and finished second overall in the standings. Transitioning from GT and secondary prototype categories into the Hypercar division represents the most significant technical leap in the team's ten-year history within international endurance racing. AF Corse will supply the logistical and engineering support required to run the complex Le Mans Hypercar.

The six-race calendar is designed to test teams across diverse European circuits during the winter months. With a purely Italian driver roster and a storied car, Cetilar Racing intends to establish itself immediately at the sharp end of the grid. Free practice and qualifying sessions at Paul Ricard will provide the first true gauge of the #47 machine's pace against rival competitors in the new-look championship.
